WTF IS MAZIAK DESIGN?

Maziak Design was born from the same place as Maziak Clothing — a genuine love for creating shit that stands out. I started designing back in 2012, originally creating artwork, graphics and clothing for my own brand. What started with designing T-shirts at 18 quickly turned into an obsession with graphic design, branding and understanding what makes a product grab someone's attention.

As the clothing brand grew, people started approaching me to create designs for their own businesses. I began working with other clothing companies, creating everything from logos and branding to merchandise and product designs. Eventually, my work found its way into the cannabis industry, and that's where Maziak Design really found its lane.

Over the years, I've worked with cannabis brands across the globe, creating custom branding, packaging, logos, illustrations, characters, labels and complete product ranges. I've always tried to stay away from templates and recycled ideas. Every brand is different, and I believe the artwork and packaging should actually represent that. The goal has always been to create something people recognise instantly and remember.

For me, good branding is about much more than putting a logo on a bag. It's the colours, typography, characters, packaging, artwork and all the smaller details that come together to give a brand its identity. You can have an incredible product, but the packaging is often the first thing somebody sees — so it needs to make an impact.

After 14 years of designing, I've built my experience across graphic design, illustration, packaging, clothing, product development, branding and marketing. I've been lucky enough to build long-term relationships with clients who have trusted me with their brands for years. Some of the people I started working with in the early days are still working with me today, and we've continued to grow and evolve together.

Maziak Design isn't a huge agency where your project gets passed between different designers. When you work with Maziak Design, you're working directly with me. From the first idea through to the finished artwork, I'm involved in the entire process.
